Film production that documents Gothenburg's Lucia over three years, produced to highlight the event and the city's commitment to the Lucia celebration.
The assignment has been to document Gothenburg's Lucia as a recurring event with strong local roots. Through film and photography, the procession, the participants and the meeting with the audience have been depicted in order to preserve and spread the experience of the Lucia celebration in the city's public spaces.
The production has been carried out over several years, which has made it possible to build a coherent visual material that shows both continuity and variation between different editions. The content is used for communication, archiving and external presentation of the event.
